I had the unusual sensation of warmth while reading this book about Abe. I do have a special spot in my heart for him as he had a hard life but never gave up on his goals. Then once he became president he worked tirelessly to abolish slavery. I watched a movie about how close the vote was in congress to pass that law and was impressed with how hard he worked to get it done. Who knows how many years it would have taken if he had not succeeded at that time.Product details

I was utterly surprised to learn some of these facts about Abraham Lincoln. The history books painted such a dull and boring man that he was when the opposite was true. A very good read!

What a great book! True to its word there are no boring parts!!! I've always wanted to read about Lincoln but didn't want all of the many boring details, just some interesting facts and this book does not dissapoint. I am 50 and learned some new things about Abraham Lincoln and some funny facts.it's an easy read. I read it in about an hour. Well worth the time for busy people.
